SASSA might be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency said it can be alarmed about the substantial number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your superior quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is mainly because of website the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area regularly. The services place created for intervention encounters a substantial influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it challenging to the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.
“In this reach-out sassa status programme, SASSA will mobilise additional methods to enable the servicing of all clients and boost access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
